Connect Shopify Analytics to Jurni
Last updated: April 26, 2026
Connecting Shopify Analytics lets your Jurni funnel data flow into your Shopify analytics dashboards. Because Jurni runs as a Headless storefront on your store, all traffic and sales it drives are attributed to the Jurni channel — so you can see Jurni's contribution to your store performance alongside the rest of your sales channels in Shopify.
To set this up, you'll install Shopify's Headless channel, create a storefront for Jurni, copy its public access token, and paste it into Jurni's Data Integrations settings.
The full setup takes about 3 minutes.
Before you start
You'll need:
A Shopify store with admin access (you must have the Apps and channels permission)
A Jurni account connected to the same Shopify store
Step 1 — Install the Headless channel
Go to the Headless channel on the Shopify App Store
Click Add app
Approve the install in your Shopify admin
The Headless channel is a free, official Shopify app. It's the standard way to create and manage Storefront API access for any custom storefront — including Jurni.
Step 2 — Create your Jurni storefront
After the channel is installed:
In your Shopify admin sidebar, under Sales channels, click Headless
Click Create storefront
Shopify will create a new storefront with default access tokens
Step 3 — Rename the storefront to Jurni
On the Storefronts page, select the storefront you just created
Beside Storefront name, click Edit
Rename it to
Jurni Headless StorefrontClick Save
Why the name matters: Sales attributed to this storefront will appear in your Shopify analytics under this name. Naming it clearly makes it easy to see Jurni's contribution to your channel performance later on.
Step 4 — Copy the public access token
Still on your storefront's page, find the Storefront API tokens card
Click Manage (or Manage Storefront API)
Copy the Public access token
Heads up: The Headless channel shows both a public and a private access token. Jurni uses the public token — copy that one. Treat the private token as a secret and don't share it.
Step 5 — Paste the token into Jurni
In Jurni, go to Settings → Data Integrations
Find the Shopify Analytics card
Paste your public access token into the field
Click Save
If the token is valid, the card will switch to Connected and your Jurni funnel data will start syncing into your Shopify analytics within a few minutes.
Verifying it's working
Once connected, you can confirm everything is flowing in your Shopify admin:
Go to Analytics → Reports
Open any Sales by channel or Sessions by channel report
Look for
Jurni Headless Storefrontin the channel breakdown — once Jurni-driven traffic and sales come in, they'll appear there
It can take a few hours for the first data points to show up after connecting.
Troubleshooting
"This token isn't valid" Double-check that you copied the full token without extra spaces. Make sure you copied the public access token, not the private one.
I don't see the Headless channel in my admin The channel was installed but isn't pinned. Use the search field at the top of your Shopify admin and search for Headless to find it.
I don't see Jurni traffic in Shopify analytics yet Data takes a few hours to appear after the first connection. If it's been more than 24 hours and you're still not seeing anything, reach out to support.
I want to use a different name for the storefront That's fine — any name works, but we recommend keeping Jurni in the name so it's easy to recognize in your analytics.
Keeping your access secure
The public access token is meant to be used in browsers and is safe to share with Jurni
The private access token should never be shared — keep it secret
If you ever need to rotate the token, you can do it from the Headless channel under Storefront API tokens → Rotate token
