Setting Up and Publishing Shopify Pages
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Overview
Shopify Pages allow Jurni to create and update native Shopify pages when you publish your funnels. Instead of hosting your funnel on a Jurni domain, your published page lives directly within your Shopify store.
This guide walks through enabling Shopify Pages, configuring your Shopify theme, and publishing funnels to Shopify.
How Shopify Pages Work
When you publish a funnel to Shopify, Jurni creates or updates a native Shopify page under your store's /pages/ path (for example, /pages/black-friday).
Your funnel continues to be designed and managed in Jurni, while Shopify serves the published page using one of your Shopify page templates.
Shopify Pages also work seamlessly with Smart Links, allowing you to redirect campaign traffic without changing your marketing URLs.
Prerequisites
Before setting up Shopify Pages, make sure:
Your Shopify store is connected to Jurni.
The Jurni Shopify app is installed.
You have administrator access to your Shopify store and theme.
Step 1: Enable Shopify Pages
In Jurni, navigate to Settings.
Locate the Shopify Pages section.
Enable Shopify Pages.
If your Shopify app requires additional permissions, you'll be prompted to update the app before continuing. Approve the update to complete the setup.
You'll also see a Cart Config Code option in this section. Cart configuration depends on your cart provider and is covered in a separate guide.
Step 2: Configure Your Shopify Theme
When you begin setup, Jurni will guide you through connecting your Shopify theme.
Create your first page template
In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Create a new Page template named
jurni-funnel.
We recommend naming your first template jurni-funnel.
After setup, you can create additional page templates at any time. As long as a template contains the Jurni Funnel Page app section, it can be selected when publishing a funnel from Jurni.
Configure the template
After creating the template:
Review the template and remove or hide any sections your theme adds by default, such as banners, featured collections, newsletters, image sections, or other page content.
Click Add section.
Under Apps, select Jurni Funnel Page.
After adding the section, select it and configure its layout.
Depending on your Shopify theme:
Turn Match section margins to theme Off, or
Enable Full page width.
This ensures your Jurni funnel spans the full width of the page instead of inheriting your theme's spacing and layout.
Save the template and return to Jurni.
Select Connect to complete the setup.
Step 3: Confirm Setup
After connecting:
Return to Jurni.
Refresh the page.
Your Shopify Pages integration is now configured and ready to use.
Step 4: Publish a Shopify Page
Once setup is complete:
Open your funnel in the Jurni editor.
Click Publish in the upper-right corner.
Select Publish to Shopify.
Confirm your Shopify store is connected.
Enter the Page Handle (for example,
black-friday).Select the Shopify page template you want to use.
Click Publish to Shopify.
Your funnel will be published as a native Shopify page.
Note: Some legacy Jurni sections are not supported on Shopify Pages. If your funnel contains unsupported sections, Jurni will identify them before publishing so they can be updated.
Updating a Published Page
After publishing, the Publish menu displays:
Current publish status
Published page URL
Last published date
Last published by
To publish new changes, simply click Update.
Unpublishing a Page
To remove a page from Shopify:
Open Publish to Shopify.
Select Unpublish page from Shopify.
Step 5: Cart Configuration (Advanced)
Depending on your cart provider (such as Shopify Native Cart or Rebuy), additional cart configuration may be required after publishing.
See Cart Configurations for Shopify Pages for provider-specific instructions.
Limitations
Shopify Pages require at least one page template containing the Jurni Funnel Page app section.
Any default Shopify theme sections should be removed or hidden from templates used for Jurni funnels.
Some legacy Jurni sections are not supported for Shopify Pages and must be updated before publishing.
Cart functionality may require additional configuration depending on your cart provider.
Troubleshooting
Shopify Pages won't connect
Verify that:
Shopify Pages are enabled in Jurni.
Your Shopify app has been updated with the latest permissions.
A page template named
jurni-funnelhas been created. The template contains the Jurni Funnel Page app section.
The template has been saved before returning to Jurni.
My funnel doesn't display correctly
This is usually caused by the Shopify page template.
Check that:
Any default theme sections have been removed or hidden.
The Jurni Funnel Page section has been added to the template.
Match section margins to theme is disabled, or Full page width is enabled, depending on your theme.
Some sections are missing after publishing
Some older Jurni sections cannot currently be published as Shopify Pages.
Before publishing, Jurni will identify any unsupported sections so they can be replaced.
