Connect Jurni to Slack

Connect Jurni to Slack to bring Jurni into your team's existing workflow, access Jurni directly from Slack, and enable automated performance reports.
Connect a Slack workspace
To get started:
In Jurni, go to Settings → Integrations.
Find Slack under Messaging.
Click Add to Slack.
Select the Slack workspace you want to connect.
Review and approve the requested Slack permissions.
You'll then be asked which Jurni shops should be available in the workspace.
Choose which shops to connect
Select the Jurni shops your team should be able to access from this Slack workspace and finish the setup.
If you manage multiple shops in Jurni, you can make multiple shops available within the same Slack workspace.
You don't need to connect every shop during the initial setup. Additional shops can be authorized later from the Jurni App Home in Slack.
Once setup is complete, return to Slack and open the Jurni app.
How Slack access works
There are two levels of access to understand:
1. Workspace access
When setting up the integration, an Owner or Admin decides which Jurni shops are available within that Slack workspace.
2. Individual user access
Connecting a shop to Slack does not automatically give everyone in the workspace access to its data.
Each person connects their own Jurni account the first time they use Jurni in Slack. Jurni will only give them access to shops that:
Have been authorized for the Slack workspace
They already have permission to access in Jurni
This means your existing Jurni permissions continue to apply when using Jurni through Slack.
Connect your Jurni account in Slack
Once Jurni has been installed in your workspace:
Open the Jurni app in Slack.
Open the Home tab.
Click Connect Jurni account if your account isn't already connected.
Follow the prompts to connect your Jurni account.
Once connected, the Jurni App Home will show the shops available to you in that workspace.
You can then interact with Jurni directly in Slack, including through direct messages and supported channel mentions.
Manage shops available in a workspace
Owners and Admins can manage which shops are authorized for a Slack workspace from the Jurni App Home.
Open Jurni in Slack and select Manage workspace shops.
From there, you can update which Jurni shops should be available within that workspace.
Remember that authorizing a shop makes it available in the workspace—it doesn't grant new Jurni permissions to individual Slack users.
Connect another Slack workspace
You can connect more than one Slack workspace to Jurni.
In Jurni, go to:
Settings → Integrations → Slack → Add another workspace
Complete the same setup process and choose which shops should be available in the new workspace.
Each connected workspace is managed separately, making this useful for organizations working across multiple Slack workspaces.
Disconnect your personal Jurni account
Individual users can disconnect their own Jurni account without removing the Slack integration for everyone else.
Open the Jurni App Home in Slack and select Disconnect account.
Jurni will stop using your account in that Slack workspace. Other users and the workspace integration itself won't be affected.
You can reconnect your account later if needed.
Disconnect a Slack workspace from a shop
To remove a workspace's connection to a Jurni shop:
In Jurni, go to Settings → Integrations.
Find Slack.
Find the connected workspace.
Open its menu and select Disconnect.
Confirm the change.
The workspace will no longer be able to access that shop's Jurni data, and any notifications configured for that connection will stop.
If you only want to stop automated reports, you don't need to disconnect Slack. You can manage those separately under Settings → Notifications.

Connecting Slack doesn't automatically enable performance reports.
Once your workspace is connected, you can choose which channels should receive Jurni reports and when they should be delivered.
